G-DRIVE mobile with Thunderbolt easily attaches to your computer via the USB or Thunderbolt port. Simply use one of the included cables to connect the drive to the appropriate port on your computer. For best performance, we recommend using the Thunderbolt connection when available. The drive will automatically mount on the desktop if you are running Mac OS. No AC power supply is necessary. The drive is bus powered to eliminate the need to carry around an external AC power supply to use the drive.
