The Seagate 1.5TB FreeAgent GoFlex Ultra-Portable Hard Drive (Black) includes a 1.5TB GoFlex Ultra-Portable Drive and USB 3.0 interface adapter, which provides up to 10x faster data transfer rates compared to USB 2.0 interfaces. It ensures automatic continuous backup and protects your privacy with powerful encryption software. The GoFlex drive is designed to work with alternate interface upgrade cables (sold separately) for maximum flexibility and increased transfer speeds. This kit includes the USB 3.0 adapter, which is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 interfaces as well. The kit also includes Seagate's Dashboard management tool for easy management of backup schedules and file encryption, as well as viewing drive statistics on your computer. The GoFlex Ultra-Portable Drive is compact and bus-powered for use with laptops and mobile devices. It's also compatible with both PC and Mac operating systems.
